Juliette and her twin sister, Jaelyn, were born to proud parents on November 2, 2005, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Even at birth, the two girls had a connection that only twin's could understand. Although they both look similar, the two girls had very different personalities. Juliette was a more out-going child, while Jaelyn was more reserved.

They were born into a picture-perfect family, loving mother, "Mommy" and devoted father, Daddy. Although, both parents were young, they were excited to begin the roll of “mom and dad”. A year after the twin's were born, "Mommy" and Daddy were married. Life seemed good.
Things seemed good, on the outside looking in. However, some where deep inside one parent there was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.
That explosion finally happened the day after Christmas 2007 when "Mommy" kicked Daddy out of the family home.
The mother chose a life of drugs, men and partying over the safety and protection of her twin girls. Daddy sent what he could for money. In seven months he sent nearly $7,000 to "Mommy" help support the twins. However, she was still behind 3 months in rent and utilities.
Daddy's family wasn’t living in the Scottsbluff/Gering area anymore when he enlisted in the Army. Daddy wanted to provide a life for his girls even though he and the twin's mother had ended their one year marriage. Daddy was attending Army boot camp when the Red Cross contacted him to receive the news of
Juliette’s demise on July 11, 2008.
During the investigation, the three adults living in the home at the time of Juliette’s death, were allowed to leave the State of Nebraska.
Daddy has returned from his 3rd tour of duty. Over three years from the day he sat hunched in the corner of the funeral home surrounded by his brothers & sisters mourning the loss of his twin daughter.
Over three years has left Juliette's entire family wondering just one question,
Why can’t Juliette have justice?

Juliette, Jaelyn, "Mommy", her boyfriend and another man, "Mommy's" ex boyfriend, all lived in a 720 sq foot home in Gering, Nebraska. At one point there was even a 15 year old runaway living in the home as well just weeks before Juliette's death.
On July 10, 2008, Juliette spent the day with the other members of her household at a local annual festivity, Oregon Trail Days. The event normally brings families together with joy and excitement, however, in this case, on this night and its events will rip a family apart.
Sketchy "Truth"
No one claims to knows what happened in the several hours after Juliette was brought home from the E.R. that morning. During those 7 plus hours Juliette didn’t just slip into the hand’s of God.
Last spring, 2010, Juliette's family was finally able to obtain her autopsy report. The results were the family’s worst nightmare come true. Not only did the sketchy "truth" not add up, but the results of the autopsy only painted a much deeper, much more brutal picture of Juliette's death.
Botched from the Beginning
"Mommy" and her boyfriends weren’t angels.
Less than a month before Juliette’s death, the three adults living in the family home were up to no good.
One of the boyfriends assaulted a man with a baseball bat and spent time in prison for committing a felony. "Mommy" and the other boyfriend were also present at the assault. All three were living together at the time with her twin girls and yet she was never questioned by authorities. The arrest did not occur until around a month after the assault.
